Privacy

The short version: we keep what the product needs to work, your public room is public, everything else is yours, and we do not sell any of it.

What we keep

Your account: a username, an email address, and a password stored as a hash we cannot read back. Your library: the books you add, your notes and bookmarks, the covers and ebooks you upload, your reading place, and your room's settings.

What is public

A public room, and every book in it that you have not marked private, can be seen by anyone with the address. Your notes are private to you; an ebook is private unless you set it to Anyone. Your email address is never shown.

Visits

We count visits to a room and opens of a book, one number per day. We do not record who visited. Your own visits to your own room are not counted.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you logged in. There are no advertising cookies. The site may use Google Analytics for overall traffic; if so, IP addresses are anonymised.

Claude

If you connect Claude, the link you make lets Claude read and change your library as you. Nothing is shared with Anthropic beyond what Claude asks for on your behalf. Switch it off from your dashboard and the link stops working at once.

Deleting

Delete a book and its files go with it. To delete your account and everything in it, ask us and we will do it.
